Hopper Passes - Will Call?

Hi everyone - just wondering if anyone has used will call before for their hopper passes?

We'll probably be buying our passes at the very last second (I will feel much more comfy to spend $800 once we are safe and sound in our hotel room!). I am bringing my laptop, but I don't think the hotel has a printer, so I figured it would be easier just to pick them up at will call.

BUT - could I buy the tickets and they will be available within the next hour or two at will call - or does it take 24 hours?

Where are you staying? I'd imagine most hotels would have a printer, although they might charge you to use it, but will call charges you $5.00 for the service, so if the printer use is cheaper than that, you'd come out ahead.

That said, the website does say, "Available for immediate pickup at any Disneyland® Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth window. For your protection, only the Guest whose name appears on the Order Confirmation may pick up this Will Call order." From that, I'd assume they'd be ready right away.

Notice that it says you have to pick them up at a ticket booth, so if you were hoping that purchasing in advance would save you time, you still have to wait in line at the ticket booth! I'd strongly try to print them out in advance.

Most area hotels sell park hoppers themselves and maybe equal or cheaper than the online price you have found.

Oh, DUH, very good point Huff! The good neighbor hotels sell tickets at their front desks :)

I'll be staying at the Best Western Park Place Inn. Does anyone know if they sell them at their front desk? I suppose I can just call to ask. I am wondering if they'll have the same hopper promo that the webiste has at the moment?

Are you talking about the one that ends April 14th? If so, I found this: http://www.parkplaceinnandminisuite...-GS2011_DLR_Q2_Ticket_Offers_Web_Pages[1].pdf

Looks like BWPPI can get that rate, but you were supposed to do it at least 24 hours in advance when you first made your hotel reservation. I'd call them and see if you can still get it when you check in.

My honest opinion, however, is that you're making this harder than it has to be ;) I really would just buy online, but I understand your fears since this particular deal has an expiration date.

Yeah, not trying to make it harder - just looking for back-up plans.

Will try to buy on-line while we're there and just print them out. Will call is the second choice and buying from the hotel is the third choice. I like to know that I have options, and that waiting till we get there will not be a mistake. If I have lots of options, no need to spend one penny more till we're actually at our hotel and literally just about to walk over to the park!

Thanks for all the info! Only 3 more days to go!!!

I'd just order now. Why? I got the e-ticket option (not will call...you just take your printed-out vouchers to the turnstile, they scan each one, and out pops a ticket immediately) and one time it took a bit of time for that email to arrive.

I don't think I would want a will call situation...I've been in some long guest relations lines...not fun when you want to get going!

Buying $800 worth of non-refundable tickets is not something I am comfortable with, at all. Even the day before our plane leaves. I have to think it over and weigh the pros and cons. Risk is low that anything will happen in 24 hours to prevent us from leaving home/arriving at DL, but with kids - you just never know!!!
