Hello all,

I have a question regarding Hopper Passes? Now can you go from Park to Park in one day only using one pass? Do they just stamp your hand? We usually get the Unlimited Magic Pass but see it as a waste of $$ for us as usually on our last day we dont do a park and we are paying for that day...and we don't do the Wide World of Sports etc......

But I wanted to see what the deal with Hopper Passes are-any info would be GREAT! Thanks guys!

1) Upon leaving a park, get your hand stamped.
2) Upon entry to same or different park, scan ticket & show hand.
3) When you use the ticket on the same day, it duplicates.
4) It is entered as a different park, but there s no charge.
5) This is the purpose of "hopping".

In general you can save money using park hoppers instead of the Unlimited Pass. The only exception I'm aware of is if you go to Disney Quest. If you go there once, it is very roughly the same cost either way. If you go 2 or 3 times, the UHP is probably your best choice. There is also a Disney Quest Annual Pass which can save money in some cases.

The hand stamp is not always checked for, but it is important. The purpose is to prevent two people from using the same pass on the same day. In principle they could deny you entry to a second park even with a park hopper pass if you don't have a hand stamp, as you may have borrowed it from someone else.
