We will be arriving on a Saturday afternoon and will have 2 day hopper passes. We plan to go to DL after checking into our hotel. My question is, what is the best plan for using our hopper pass for Sunday? Should we start at DL or CA? Will we be able to have early entry since we are staying at DLH? Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Yes you will have MM. I'd start at DL since it has MM and opens earlier. Then hop over to DCA when it opens at 10.

That sounds good--kind of what I was thinking because I definitely want to ride Soarin'. Wondering about heading back over to DL at some point...any suggestions?

It depends on what you want to do. Here are some things to think about for Sunday:

1. If you are staying at the DLH you can do Magic Morning - do it. Get there at the gates with your body at 6:30AM. Yes 6:30AM. Do 7AM MM.

See "Magic Morning (Early Entry) Super Thread" by DLR29 www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1675403 for more info

2. At 8AM regular park hours start. Get a FP at 8AM and get a second at 8:45 and a third at 9:30. The three I would recommend are Space Mtn, then Indy, then Splash Mtn. If it is a warm day get Splash Mtn second.

Focus on DL rides. DCA will open at 10AM. Hop over there when it works out. You can enter at 9:30M if you want to ride Soarin or get a Soarin FP. Do DCA mid-day. Hop back to DL when you are done with DCA. Use your DL FPs from the morning. Get a BTMRR or BLAB FP when you get back into DL.

The park hours listed on the DL website say that the park opens at 9:00am that Sunday and that the early morning starts at 8:00, not 7:00am...so I should get there at 7:30, not 6:30, right?

Thanks for the hints!

That is wierd. I thought on Sundays DL always opened at 8AM. What day are you looking at?

So here's a basic outline of what I would do:

-arrive at 7:30ish (+ or - 10 min probably)
-Do Fantasyland for the whole MM (Peter Pan first, dumbo if necessary, then Matterhorn/Alice/Mr. Toad and go from there)
-at 9 I'd grab a FP for one of your favorite rides, probably Space
-Then I'd go ride one of the big, popular rides, probably Indy
-After that, I'd hop to DCA before the 10AM rope drop, get a Soarin FP, and head straight to TSMM.

EDIT: Hydroguy, I just checked the DL website and DL opens at 9 on the rest of the sundays this month, but then next month returns to opening at 8 on sundays :confused3

We will be there Sunday, January 31. I just looked at the website.

I agree. But 9AM? Wierd.

Anyways take DLR29's advice and mine (with one hour tacked on for the 9AM opening) and go for it.

I forgot that I had booked early lunch reservations at Blue Bayou so I think I'll call and try to get them moved to later so that we can do MM at DL first thing, then go over to CA at 10 when it opens, then come back to DL for late lunch and further good times!
