I have hopper passes from a trip a few years ago , 4 years ago I think. I am not sure how many days I have left on them
I thought you could check them at a Disney store , so out I go today to the mall,, and they tell me no they can't check it.
I have to call long distance and after five minutes with out talking to a human I gave up.
Is there any other way to check them ????
Thanks for any help.
Tim

The only way they will check them is in person. They can be checked at any WDW hotel front desk or Guest Services location at the parks or Downtown Disney. They used to do it over the phone, but have since stopped. The CM has to physically have the ticket in their hand to give that info out...

We tried to have our tickets checked at the resort Guest Services duing our March trip and were told that the only way to check them is to go to the park gates. It was a pain, but it sure beat buying more tickets!

This is kinda funny b/c I have read on these boards where some people have been able to check this at their resort GR and others have not. I think it might depend on which resort you're staying in or maybe even which CM you talk to.

Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding! You've got the right answer!!! :teeth:

You definately should be able to find out how many days are left at any Disney Resort. If someone tells you that they cannot tell you the answer, be sure to ask for a supervisor, or simply a more knowledgable CM. :)

Probably just a useless piece of trivia that won't actually help anyone -- but you can also check them at Disneyland.

I had some older PHP's with unused days and options and had them checked in October 04 at the Polynesian no problem. A couple were purchased at WDW and the others at the Disney Store. The disney store ph's were a bit more difficult and another CM had to assist but they were both pleasant and helpful. I have also checked passes at the ASMusic Resort.

You can no longer do this over the phone or at the Disney Store, although I am not sure you ever could check at the Disney Store anyway.

LOL :rotfl: That made my day :)

having worked resorts I have to say that was hysterical :)

They can be checked at the resort front desk don't let them try and tell you they can't. Each ticket has a code on the back with numbers and letters, as long as that code is there they are able to check them....

Glad to make you smile, LB. ::yes::

I did not know if I was perhaps insulting CMs? :confused3 Which was definately not mt intent.

I just know that sometimes you have to find the "right" CM to get the right answer. :)

:teeth: No worries, I feel that the only ones who would be insulted are those that have a guilty conscious.

I have the same dilema as OP.

My question is "Can I write that information on the card directly with marker - or maybe on a label?"

I have tickets left from two different trips, some have pluses left, some have days left and some have both left. I'll never keep it all straight once the CM tells me what is left on which card.

Any ideas or suggestions.?

Kim

I had someone come into the Disney Store the other day and ask me "home much is left on this?" They handed me a PHP. I told them I am was sorry I couldn't tell them how many days were left on it. They said "no, they wanted to know how much money was left on it". I told them it was an admission ticket to the park, they didn't understand.

Absolutely! Just don't do anything with the magnetic stip. I have marked mine with "Park Days" and "Pluses" and have put hash marks under the appropriate one each time the pass is used.

Hope that this helps. :)

As Beth said, writing on the back of the ticket is fine. I would not recommend using labels as they may become dislodged or jam in the turnstile when you run your ticket through.

Another option for keeping track of park days that I have seen used involves using the cardboard sleeve that the holds the ticket. If you purchased your tickets at a source that didn't give you a sleeve for your tickets, you can pick one up for free at any Guest Relations, Guest Services or resort front desk.

You take a Sharpie or Magic Marker and write the person's name on both the front of the ticket and the front of the sleeve. Then, each time you use that ticket for an admission, you mark it down on the sleeve. Since both ticket and sleeve have matching names written on them, you can't confuse them.
