How kind of WDW to change the way the passes work!! We still have 1 park & 2 pluses from our last trip so could probably get away with a 5 day pass BUT we are going for 21 nights (11 parks in 14 days just isn't an option anymore!!) so would have to upgrade to Non-expiry anyway. We normally like to carry days over for our next trip so we would then have to look at a 6 or higher,is this just false economy & should we just buy the 21 day ultimate ticket?

Another option would be an Annual Pass. Especially if you plan on going back within a year. With the AP you can also apply for the DDE card (Disney Dining Experience). This gives you 20% most WDW restaurants. On top of this you get various other AP discounts at Disney shops in DTD and discount at mini golf etc.

i would go for the 7 day hopper plus with no expirey date as if you add all the days in works out cheapest option only annual we get is the waterparks with disney quest works out at $130.00 as we spend a lot of time in them we only visited the main parks twice when we went for 3 weeks in august but with our last holiday we spent over 13 days in water parks and many nights in disney quest

Paul what is the AP for the water parks and disney quest. I have never heard of them before and we to have some days left on older passes which we never seem to use as we always want to go to the waterpark and end up buying new ticket so we can go more than once.

I would check out the Magic Your Way tickets that you can buy in the US.
You can buy hoppers and with tickets that never expire, we bought the 10 day premium tickets which also come with an additional 5 days at Water Parks/Disney Quest etc
These will last us a few holidays.

see www.mapleleaftickets.com for details

We were quite happy buying the Ultimate 14 day pass because it only worked out about £10 more expensive than the 7 day pass.

You can buy a 7 day premium for the price of 5 day ticket at the moment £146
you would have to buy the non expire part at the front gate, i think it costs $55
per ticket.Its still good value as its 7 + 5 .
