As you all well know, though an ECV is helpful in many ways it also can really detract from the ability to enjoy the parks. Having to look out constantly for what other people are doing, being ready to stop in an instant when someone jumps right in front of the ECV, enduring someone leaning on your chair during parades and in lines, and worst of all, hearing the hurtful comments made (as if you were invisible and unable to hear them) are difficult. After suffering with arthritis in my knees since I was a teenager, I am getting the first of two knee replacements tomorrow. Goal for me is to walk the parks for the first time in years when I go in September. Your good thoughts are appreciated.
