Hoping there's a Member Cruiser who can answer some quick questions?

I'm really wanting to book the Member Cruise today if I can. The problem is I'm heading out the door to another 12 hours of joy in a downtown ER in 5 minutes. Luckily early morning is the best time of the day for the possibility of a few minutes peace.

Here's my questions...

Can I book with cash and change to points when I'm sure DH wants to go?

Is there really only a 48 hour cancellation policy?

If I book and DH really doesn't want to go, can I change his name and bring a friend without penalty?

I would say do not count on the booking with cash and changing to points scenario. Thas has been a topic of interest to say the least, lately and cannot be counted on I am afraid.

Any cancellation will result in your points becoming reservation points with restricted use. I am not familiar with only a 48 hour period to do so, however. Do you mean 48 hours prior to sail date?

As long as you do not put DH as the lead name on the reservation, you should be able to change passengers down the road. Be prepared to pay a $95 rebooking fee to do so, however. Today's initial fee is the only one that is waived for the Member Cruise.
