Hoping that there are no cut backs on christmas decorations this year :(

After reading that there were some cut backs with the christmas decorations in the season just gone, I am so desperately hoping this isn't the case when we go or christmas 2013!

I'm hoping that since the 20th would've ended they won't have to make budget cuts or anything and will maybe go big or as normal. One thing that DLP does sometimes cut corners on are detail, I hate when there are certain things that make it feel less special (ie less decorations, needed paint jobs, dirty surroundings, bulbs needing replacing etc!)

Booking Tuesday -so excited! Here's hoping the 15th-19th will be quiet!

From the photos Ive seen there are no cutbacks and they have new decorations this year. Although I went last year for Christmas and Christmas 2009 and I didn't notice any cut backs last year.

The 20th anniversary is being extended another year like the 15th was.

The Christmas decorations were (IMO) better than ever this year.

They certainly weren't cut back and there were lots of new ones.

The park looked beautiful.

we are also planing of going end of November so I hope it going to very magic next season as well...

but I ask you why are you booking so early as there are no offers at all for after 7 November? whatever offer came it will be always better that normal brochure price?

As Happy Tappy said, the decorations were beautiful this year, the only disappointment was the lack of a Christmas show in the Chaperal Theatre. The Christmas parade which ran three times a day was brilliant.

Oh that's good then! I was so disappointed when someone told me that it scaled back and I thought it was only extended until September?

Early booking winter discount! also, the earlier we book it the longer we have to save and pay for it, which is always a bonus.

thanks, just chcked on my work laptop and it showing this deal from 8th November 2013 to 26th March 2014 and and home it just showing up to 7th so will have to clear cookies... but I checked my dates and almost twice what we are paying now for March so will be waiting for sure (but we did get 2 free nights deal)... plus need to book eurostar first I think as lots of people coulnd get their first choice of days when they release tickets last week...

but congrats to you on booking tomorrow, wish I have it book as well and its great feeling to know about you are going to be there for Xmas time

For the moment it's all officially extended to the end of September 2013 but Dreams at least will continue long after that as it cost/costs too much to stop after only a year and a half

There will be some changes to Dreams! in April when some of the sceens are being changed. So I expect Dreams! will be updated again in time for December.

That would be amazing! I know they were changing two of the little sequences to make way for Brave and Lion King (or so i've read) but i'd love for them to add new things to it! I have to admit I was disappointed when it was only extended until September, but I think they'll add the extra months after to tempt people as a Last Chance to see kind of thing

April also sees the introduction of the Dreams! flashing ears and the park will have a new Main Street Christmas Tree for the 2013 Christmas season.

The only real cut back last year was that there was no Mickey's Winter Wonderland show at The Chaparral Theater.
