Hoping it's all an elaborate hoax....

I am so bummed out. My SiL who lives in CA. along with my in-laws was supposed to come with them and meet us at WDW in Nov. I just talked to her last night and she's not coming. Why? Because she's scared of hurricanes! I've tried everything to convince her that when we are going (Nov.27 thru Dec. 4) it should be fine, but she's too scared of them after Katrina and now Wilma isn't helping. She's not a big Disney fan like I am so to give up a WDW trip is no big deal to her. A free one at that, because my MiL was going to cover her expenses.
I'm just disappointed because I was looking forward to seeing her. I keep thinking maybe this is all an elaborate hoax to trick me and that she's planning to surprise me when we get there.

She did just send me a early b-day present... some money to spend on the trip and these really cute Tinkerbell slippers! And I must say I love my Tink slippers. Anyways, I'm just keeping my fingers crossed she'll change her mind!

Isn't hurricane season over by then? You should try mentioning that to her then maybe she'll change her mind...

Sounds like she's trying to think of any excuse not to come. Sorry, but that's just how it sounds to me. Hope she changes her mind.

tell her that in November there is a better chance of an earthquake dropping California in the ocean, than there is of a hurricane in Florida...
