We're heading down to WDW in Jan 2010 for the marathon weekend (DH and I are running the 1/2 marathon). We're going with our DD who will be 15 months and my parents. We originally had reservations at Chef Mickey's for breakfast but I just changed them today to the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway. I chose this restaurant because we'll be in Epcot early so my dad and DH can take pictures and I'm hoping that DD will enjoy seeing the princesses. She's never seen characters before, except for the DC United soccer mascot who got a little too close to her for her comfort :) How is the food there? I've been to Chef Mickey's but never to Norway. We're not too picky for breakfast but DH loves french toast, waffles, and anything sweet...

Our other reservations on the dining plan are:
Friday night - Mama Melrose
Saturday night - Le Cellier (everyone's favorite and I could only get a late dinner, hope DD will last!)
Sunday morning - Princess Storybook breakfast
Sunday evening - Chefs de France
Monday - departing so we'll just do counter service

Can you tell we love Epcot food? :) We'll have park hoppers so we're fine with heading back to Epcot to eat at night. My parents just got back from the Food & Wine festival so I'm more excited than ever now!

We love the Princess Breakfast. We went for the first time with our girls in 2007 (they were 4 and 8 months then) and we are set to go in December this year. My 8 month old was fascinated with the princesses even though she had really never seen any Disney movies at time except for Mulan (who was there when we went). Since the Princesses are "real" people, she didn't get scared of them as she did some of the others who are in full suit costumes. I hope she's good with them this time at 2 1/2 years old. She sees pictures of them on TV and on the computer, but in real life who knows. She hates the costume charcter @ Chuck E Cheese, so we'll find out soon enough.

As for the food, they bring you a dish (family style) that has eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage and biscuits. There is also a buffet with different pastries and fruit. A little something for everyone.

We've never been to Chef Mickey's but do have reservations set for that this time too. (We are on the deluxe dining plan, so we have a different character breakfast set for each morning. We figure it's a great way to meet most of the characters without standing in too long of lines in the parks!)

Hope you all enjoy it.
