I wouldn't put it past them, but when I saw Michael O'Leary being interviewed this morning about no check-in desks and he made a comment about a £1 to pee I thought that the BBC would pounce on that comment and try and make it into a big story.

I wouldn't put it past Ryanair doing this...

We're flying with them in three weeks for a friends hen party and what started out as 'cheap' flights could potentially turn into a quite expensive one with all the extras that get added onto the booking afterwards.

It's £30 for a suitcase to be checked in

can you imagine how much it would cost for a family with a couple of youngish children, on a flight of longer than an hour!! or if people refuse to pay, phew that wouldn't be a nice flight.

on a more serious note, their are people that are either on medication or for medical reasons have to access a toilet more regularly than most, and are unable to 'hold' themselves!

ohh and what if you don't have the correct change, will the stewardesses have change or may be a change machine, they could make more money put in a fiver and get 4 £1 coins out!!!!

I have members of my family who cannot 'hold it' for me this is disgusting! For goodness sake, even on our trains it costs nothing to use them. You know why? To stop people from messing the seats.

Poor RyanAir staff may see that more in future if this happens.

Plus a POUND!!! The most i have ever had to pay to use a toilet is 20p. Rip off!

Yes but you can bring as much "off" as you want

The thing is, I have travld with them,if you want/need the basics, ie no suitcases,check in online, they are cheap. But a pound to take a pee is taking the Pi**
I was also reading an article saying that they are going to allow you to use phones over 10thousand ft, but i would cost a fortune, now! the thought of someone yakking next to me WOULD stop me flying ryan air.
