Hope for waitlist or book back up

We are new to DVC, booked our first stay for BWV at 11months in October. We had originally booked five nights then decided we wanted to extend by two days. I have booked Oct 10-15 studio garden view and Oct 16 studio garden view. I need Oct 15th night. Are the chances of getting the one night in between a good shot? I have it waitlisted as well as the 15th and 16th ( waitlisted before I was able to book the 16th)
Or should I book a back up resort but I do not want to move 3 times would you book the 15th and 16th at another resort? Keep waiting? At what point would you decide to give up on the one night in between. I'm also borrowing points so I don't want to book too much and risk the points becoming this use year if I dont use them. Thanks

I think your chances are good to get the one night. However, if you have the points, I’d book something else as back up...though youd have to own elsewhere to book that now as we are still in home resort..and then adjust your waitlist to replace those two nights with the night of the 15th.

I would keep checking and keep the 16th. Or, just wait the 2 weeks and see what happens at the 7 month window as some BWV owners may be trying to get rooms elsewhere.

I have had rooms come through during October. Last year, I got it for that timeframe right around June.
