Hope for a value resort first weekend of December?

Hi all!

Wondered about your experiences finding relatively last-minute reservations. It'll just be me traveling Nov 30-Dec 3. Right now I have the first night at All Star and second at Coronado with an AP rate.

What is the likelihood that a room will open up for Dec 1-Dec 3 at one of the values? I'd probably take rack rate rather than split stay it or stay at a Disney Springs hotel. Simply so I can use my Disney rewards dollars.

Slim, but not impossible would be my guess. Last year we were originally booked Dec 4-11 at All Star Music, then a few months before decided to add the night of the 3rd, and it was down to the wire on getting it booked. I think it finally became available something like 2 weeks before we left.

Well, my question was resolved relatively fast. I just played around with the dates repeatedly and something opened up at AS Music. I had to book it one day at a time, but I got the three days I wanted.

Now I wonder if they can combine them into one if I call. Or if I just kindly ask them at the desk to not move me from room to room.

I would try to call and get them combined before you go. If they are booked pretty solid, asking nice when you get there may not be possible. You may have to get the guest relations instead of a regular phone cast member, but it’s worth trying to get it worked out before you leave.
