Rather odd question but do the non DVC rooms onsite have hoovers in them? We are staying at POFQ and I can't find any info on if they have hoovers in the room. We use those vaccum packs to compact our clothes when travelling but I have only ever stayed in a DVC room before through my parents and there has always been a hoover available.

I have never seen them in a resort room, only in the DVC rooms. You could always call housekeeping and see if they could bring one for you.

Only DVC rooms have vacuums for guest use. You could contact housekeeping at your resort and see if they could have someone drop by with a vacuum, but I don't know if they'd leave it with you.

As an alternative you could try using compression bags instead of vacuum bags, something like this:

Travel Compression Bags

You roll them up to force the air out instead of using a vacuum. I've been using something similar to this for years, they work very well. I travel a lot, and don't recall ever seeing a vacuum in a standard hotel room, only in timeshares. So these are a good alternative.

Thanks for the replies!! I will have a look at those compression bags as this will probably save a lot of hassle in the long run! :goodvibes
