Hooray! Got the ADRs I wanted!

First, thank you all for all of the great info I've read on these boards. I just made reservations for our April vacation. We are having breakfast at Chef Mickey's and dinner at 1900 Park Fare I was afraid I waited too long to call but we got what we wanted. I had no idea which day/time to ask for since I haven't seen the crowd calendar but it will all work out.

Hooray for you! And me too! I got all mine for April this past week too! I was most worried about the kids pirate cruise, the meals I can change around, but the day I wanted for the pirate cruise, I asked how many more spots there were and there were only 5 spots left after I ADR'd my boys! Whew! A little close for comfort but done! Have a wonderful trip!

Fizz13- Have a great trip! How are you going to tell the kids?

Pattnfamily- I wish there was a better way to make reservations. I know I put off calling because the system is so awkward. I would like to actually see what times/dates are available and make a choice rather than have to ask for a specific time/date and then go from there. Last year when I called some openings disappeared while I was checking for different days! But, I also got a breakfast at Akershus (sp?) because someone cancelled so..it all works out. Enjoy your trip!

Two great restaurants you have there. CM's is definetly nice to go to due to being inside the Contemporary resort. It's cool to see the monorail zooming by while you're eating. The food there is quite delicious even though we've only done it once. I'm not sure that it would dramatically change, but the crew rotates so it's possible to get a not-so-good meal, as witnessed by others who have reviewed CM's.

1900 Park Fare is one we have not tried yet. This trip, we're all ADR'd out. We have 2 character breakfasts and that's about our limit for this trip. The reviews have been good for this restaurant so i'm sure it will be fun to eat there, especially in the grandeur of the GF. Please post up a review and/or pics of the restaurant.
