HoopDeeDo on Thanksgiving?

Booked free dining for the last week of November. We decided to arrive thanksgiving day for a split stay until the FD package kicks in on Saturday...

We were thinking of booking hoopdeedo on thanksgiving? I know its a crowded week. we have never had a problem getting hoop reservation, do you think thanksgiving will be any different? will reservations fill up quickly for that day??


Any other suggestions for an arrival day thanksgiving dinner, doesn't have to be traditional turkey...

So you would be paying out of pocket for Hoop Dee Doo on Thanksgiving? That seems pretty expensive. Perhaps something like Olivia's, Raglan Road, or Homecomin' would be an acceptable alternative, until your dining package starts.

we enjoy hoopdedo every trip.. only difference this trip is its on thanksgiving...

I think HDDR would be an awesome way of spending thanksgiving. Even when we are on the dining plan, we tend to pay OOP for HDDR because the price per credit ends up being lower than most of the other meals we do. I'm not sure about hos fast it will book up, but I think you should be fine as long as you book it at your 180 day mark.

For sure. You won't find a bigger fan of HDDR than myself, but as far as dining crenotdits go it's a waste. IMO, if you're not getting ~$50 per TS, the DDP isn't worth the hassle.

As much as I love HDDR, I could never imagine not having Thanksgiving at home with friends and family. If that's not really your thing, why not HDDR!

we have the quick service dining plan. doesn't cover Hoop...
Actually, my whole family will be there with us!!!! Yahoo.... DD, DSIL and 2 grandkids 7 & 4, wife and I will be in a separate room at pop. ( separate room from DD not my wife....)
