I was wondering if there was a better night to go. Would the week-end be more crowded than the week-day or does it matter? Thanks...

I don't think it would make much difference. There are a set number of tables and they sell out most every night. The only difference would be if you do not call early enough to get your choices of days. Many people like to do HDDR on either thier first or last vacation day or on one of thier "rest" days as not to loose park time. We like to do it our last night at WDW.

Just call early enough to get a table downstairs. You can call two years out.

I agree with the above post. Call early. We have called one year in advance and sit right next to the stage. Personally, I would prefer to be in the middle of the room so the actors are not right on top of you. But I wouldn't want to be upstairs, so do call early. You'll love this show!

I don't think any night is better than another. We've been seated upstairs and downstairs and enjoyed the seats in both areas. The actors make their way upstairs too! I actually preferred upstairs because I didn't feel as pushed together with other tables as I did downstairs.

Depends how busy the parks are. We went to Hoop dee doo in August. We went to the 9:30 show on a Monday night and the place was almost empty. We were a group of 17 and we made our ressies the Monday before. We took up 2 tables and there were only 5 other tables taken.

We have gone twice, January and December. We went on a week night. The January show we sat in the balcony which I really loved. Our December trip we were on the lower floor and my DH was picked to be Davy Crockett's ghost. He was dressed in a pink tutu and I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my life. Our DD though it was great.

The later show is usually quieter. The last time we went was a mid week 9:30 show and it was only half full.
