We have booked for our trip, but do we have to use one of our park admissions the day of the show since it is not at a park?

Nope. Hoop De Doo is at Fort wilderness and you can get transportation from the parks to FW without using a ticket. :thumbsup2

Nope, all you need is a ticket to the show. :) There are many ways to get to Pioneer Hall, but none require a part ticket.

Would a good way be to go to the MK and take the boat ride over? Then back when its done? I'm at POP soon and was wondering the best way there.

A ticket? We have ressies for our first day through the dinning plan, who gives us our tickets?

I have always rented a car and don't always know the best way to get around using Disney transportation. That said, if I were staying at the Pop, that's exactly how I'd do it. Take the bus to the Magic Kingdom and then the boat to Ft. Wilderness. The boat dock is a hop, skip and a jump from Pioneer Hall. When you drive or take the bus to Ft. Wilderness, you then have to take their internal bus to get yourself to Pioneer Hall. It is more of a pain, IMO.

If you're staying in a Disney hotel, you can pick your tickets up at the desk - the concierge line. If you are staying on a club level floor, the staff there can print them out for you.

If you aren't staying in a Disney hotel, you can pick them up at any park (except water parks, I don't think they do that there - not sure though.) I think you might be able to pick them up at Downtown Disney, too...but I'm not sure about that.

We stayed at the GF and we took the monorail to MK and then a boat to Ft. Wilderness. We did the 7:15 show and afterwards there were several buses lined up. A CM standing nearby asked us where we were headed and put us on one of the buses. I dont' remember where it was going but the driver dropped us off at GF first.

that is pretty much the best way to get there. when the show is over, they will have buses lined up ready to take everyone back to their resorts.

Thanks so much for the reponses. That helps a lot.

When in May the second show, it was OUSTANDING. They had busses waiting after the show to take you to Disney's resorts.
