I just want to know if they take a group picture prior to you going in? Also do that for the Laua as well? How much is it? Thanks.

I know they do take your picture before the Luau. They come around to your table towards the end of the show and let you see the pics and a price sheet.
I don't recall getting the picture done at HDDR, but it's been awhile since i've been there.

I believe that last time I went (years ago) they were doing photos outside Pioneer Hall.

I just booked our ADR this morning and CR told me to make sure we arrive 30 minutes early for our group photo before being seated.

We went to HDDR in Sep 2005 and were not offered a photo op., though it was a dark and rainy night.

We have a wonderful picture of the 12 of us around the wagon wheel outside of Pioneer hall. But no one took one of us at the Laua. I would have bought both.

Have had a group pic taken both at the Luau (Nov. 2002) and Hoop Dee Doo (March 2005). Bought them both (I'm such a sucker!). They really turned out cute, tho.

OK, I do HDDR every single trip. If I went for a day, I'd be at HDDR.

Maybe I'm just forgetting, but I dont' remember ever having an official picture taken, nor one brought to the table.

The Poly Luau, yes. They even route you to it as if it is required - ug. But I don't remember this at HDDR.

That's interesting. I booked HDDR a few days ago and the CM said nothing about arriving early or a photo op. Thank goodness for Dis!

Go a little early. The photographer is usualy around the wagon wheel by the pin carts.

We've been to the HDD 7 times (latest was Easter last year) and had our picture taken 7 times and bought all of them. We've got trip #8 planned for June and would be really disappointed if we didn't get a picture. It's kind of neat to watch the kids grow up in the series of HDD pictures.

Are these pictures that can be added to the PhotoPass CD (or whatever it's called), or do these have to be purchased separately?

They do take your picture but we have had many issues with the quality of the photo's and have not bought one in 2- years and we have gone every year. Please ask them to see the digital photo before they process and bring to your table so you won't be disappointed. Have fun as the hoop de doo is GREAT!!!

We've also have always had our picture taken in front of the wheel. We've bought it each time, too. Hopfully when we go again in June we'll get another one
