Hello all! Been a while since I was on here but am excited to be planning a trip for next spring.
One of our desired table service meals is the Hoop Dee Doo review. I understand why they say wheelchair accessibility is only available in Category 1, but then it says that the dining plan can only be used for Category 1 seating at the 8:15 show. There's no way we could do a show that late with our 2yo, so does that mean we wouldn't be able to use our meal plan there? Or will they make an exception for the seating restriction due to the need for accessibility? Surely we aren't the first family to come across this issue.

I did check by phone just in case, and they said they can't make an exception on the payment issue, which didn't surprise me, but they also said they can't guarantee a floor table. That did surprise me a bit, TBH. It doesn't seem like an unreasonable request; I can't help that I need the wheelchair seating - I'm a T-6 paraplegic and totally wheelchair dependent (vs. a wheelchair user who could take a few assisted steps if necessary). And the whole reason we're going to HDD is to celebrate my son's 3rd birthday, so I doubt that he's going to make it until the 8:30 show just so Mommy can get a wheelchair seat. We did book the 4pm show, so I guess we'll just have to arrive early and hope for the best. At least that is our "down" day; we're just planning on shopping at Downtown Disney and swimming at the resort, so it won't be like we're sacrificing park time for an early arrival.
