Have any vegetarians out there tried Hoop Dee Doo? I'm thinking about adding this to our ADR's for next year's trip, but I haven't been able to locate any information on the vegetarian offerings. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :goodvibes

I have been twice and called the Hoop de doo Review in advance to let them know. They usually give you a choice of two or three entrees to choose from (usually a pasta w/ marinara sauce, grilled or steamed veggies w/ baked potato, and I think a fish dish for pescatarians). Last time I got the grilled veggies - they were so delicious! They were so plentiful and well-seasoned, it was actually one of the best meals that I had the whole trip!

While I'm sure they could make something for you without advance notice, I would strongly suggest calling ahead.

Yes my mother is allergic to chicken and they served her Prime Rib and after she was done asked her if she wanted more.. so they do accomodate.. have fun.

Did she have to call ahead or did she just let them know when she arrived? I'm allergic to strawberries. It'd be nice if I could get an alternative dessert.

I called ahead for several meals. My aunt who is vegan-- she got the roasted veggie plate and was astonished at how good it was! She had kind of felt she would simply be settling, and it was our Thanksgiving dinner! My mom got the fish-- unsure what type and again-- very pleased with it. My DD got macaroni and cheese. That huge serving went around the table to be shared ;) I called 1 week ahead because they said to and because it was Thanksgiving Day-- kind of busy. They may be able to accommodate you if you don't, but why be disappointed? Call ahead.

They never made us feel funny and because of the seating plan, they new our party had alternate meals ordered.

Call ahead and talk to them-- they were very generous with options.

This is good news! I'll have to remember for next time - we already have ADR's all set for our May trip. I'm Vegetarian too. :yay:

Does anyone know if they have gluten free options? If so how do they taste?

Great to know! I always call ahead, but it's nice to find out from people who have actually had a meal what sort of options they were offered and whether or not they were actually good! :) A baked potato and vegetables sound like a great meal, maybe we'll get lucky and it will still be offered as an option!

Thanks so much for the information! I appreciate it! :goodvibes
