We are a party of three and I have booked us Category 1 seating. Do they actually have tables of three available and if so, where would they be located?

I know that it is possible for anyone to be off to the side, I'm just wondering if all the three tops are located there? any chance we could be located near the middle?

Tables all seemed to be mixed. There were 2's, 3's, 4's .... right on up to bigger parties all over. I wouldn't say there is any set place you would sit only that my understanding is you are assigned a seat by date of your reservation.

Go here and scroll down to TheRustyScupper for a good explanation of seating:

We are also a party of three and only do Category 1 seating. The only time I was ever sat off to the side was when it was just me and my husband as a party of two. It was right behind the musicians and it was wonderful being able to watch them so closely as well as being close to the stage.

Thank you both for the quick responses and the information!

Hopper, I see that you have pics from the Balcony, how did you like sitting up there? My daughter wanted either Cat 1 (for hopefully middle of floor) or 3 (for Balacony).

Tables are certainly mixed.....we've been seated all over the place. The last time we had a seat right in front of the stage! note: if you have anyone in your party that is shy or doesn't want to interact with the people on stage...DON'T SIT THERE! my daughter was not a happy camper. Have a great time!

Only one that would be an unhappy camper would be me... but I think that I could put up with it for two hours, or so I hope.

We are two top and we book at 180 days for hddr. We always get cat 1 one two rows back middle. Every time. Good seats.

On our May trip, my son asked one morning if we could go to hddr. I called and got a last minute reservation on balcony. It was great, I think anywhere you are seated, it will be fine. They really involve the entire audience. We have been twice and enjoyed it both times. He is twelve now and still loved it!

I've been to HDDR 4 times since May (and going again tomorrow). While I'm only a party of 1, I've found there really isn't a "bad" table in the restaurant. Have fun! It's a great show

We've been 2x as a party of 2. First time sat in the balcony... great view. This time had Cat1 on the floor. At one point they come & sing in the middle of the floor, and they asked my daughter to move her chair as they were going to be singing right there.... It was awesome! We belly laugh every time we go! Enjoy!
