Hoop Dee Doo seating question

I currently have a reservation for 7 of us in Cat 1 that I booked 180 days out. I now have to move the reservation because of getting AK party tickets for that same night. There aren't any tables for 7 available at this point on any other night.

Questions - Does anyone know how the seating works as far as how many per table? I know there are different table sizes.

I was thinking of trying to split the group but didn't know the best way to split, table of 3 and 4 OR is it better to try for 5 and 2? I already had called in any they didn't have CAT 1 for table of 3 and 4 on the same night and time.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Not sure your dates of travel. HDDR seating is assigned when booking reservations and really isn't a very large venue. With that said, tables (August, 2018) were mostly 4s, but tables are really close together.

Can you do a CAT 2 table for 7? It's not much different than CAT 1 and y'all would be seated together.

Tables are assigned in advance and are arranged by what's required of the party seated there. There were tables of ~10 located near us the last time we were there; we were at a table for 2. They just move them around to fit the configuration needed with very little excess space (they are close together!).

I would also set up a dining finder; people cancel all the time

OP - there are several shows per night, have you tried them all for each date? IMO it’s easier to check online

I would choose cat 3 over cat 2. The balcony seats on the side give a perfect view. Cat 2 seats can be in the back of the main level, and not as good a view, imo.

Also, with cat 3, there shouldn't be a problem putting you all together, as it's just one long table (with spaces for people to get in and out, as seating is on both sides).

We went in 2006 and were a party of 8, we had a big round table that the cast danced around.We had a lot of fun!!!
