We will be going to Disney on the dining plan and would like to try the Hoop Dee Doo Revue. On the dining plan we can only get Tier 2 or 3 seating. Would this level of seating give my 3 year old and 5 year old a close enough view to keep them interested. Would it be better to pay OOP for Tier 1 for this? I was just wondering how easy it was for small children to see the stage from these Tier 2 or Tier 3 seats.

I would like to know the answer to this, too. I have category 2 booked, but have a 7 and 4 year old. Thanks!

We've sat in all three categories I think if we consider the trips before they were categories! We had a great view from all of them. DD actually prefers what I think are now Tier II seats (balcony seats directly facing the stage). DH likes the Tier III seats (long tables on the sides of the room in the balcony but closer to the stage than Tier II. The floor seats if you are too close to the stage have left me with a crick in my neck from looking up. Kind of in the middle of the floor was pretty good - great view of the stage and far enough back to not feel like is was constantly looking up. From the back of the room, you would actually be better off doing Tier II I think. And you don't know where you will be seated until you get there. The only reason I think I would spend the extra money for Tier I will be when my arthritis progresses to the point that the stairs become impossible for me - there is no elevator to the second floor so if you can't do stairs you are pretty much stuck with Tier 1 and paying the extra.

I've sat in tier II - way at the back of the first floor and tier I - second row from the stage. After sitting close I won't go again without tier I. I would worry about small children being able to see if they were too far back

WE were just ther in September. We had the dining plan so we could only get tier 3. I was worried but it turned out great! My boys were 6.5 and 2.5 and they had a blast! We were seated up top in the balconey right o the side of the stage. My boys could just swivel their chairs around nad lean on the rail and watch the show. They had so much fun and the cast looked up to them many times and the cast also came upstairs to see them! I think the view for them was better then if we had tier 2 seats!:thumbsup2

Are their different price ranges now for the seating areas?? I've always been fortunate enough to have sat on the floor in the middle of the room and never paid a higher price. Of course last time I went was in 2000.
