Does anybody know what the price is for the Hoop-dee-do revue and if there are any discounts for either ap or dvc members? If I remember correctly I remeber reading somewhere that there is a discount for the late show but I don't know what the price is.

Thanks in advance,
chris

50.22 with tax and gratuity for adults, children I don't remember, 24-25ish. There is a 20% discount for AP holders who have purchased the DDE card that costs $50. It is for the late show which I believe is at 930PM

Hope that helps!

Every year I want to go to the Hoop De Do, but I look at that price and think that'll pay for a whole day at a park or dinners at O'Hana AND Boma. I know many, many people would never miss a chance to go to the Hoop de Do, and I'm not saying it's over-priced. I just have a hard time biting the bullet on this one (Cirque Du Soleil, too, FTM).

I agree it sounds like a lot of money. I remember one year we booked it for a party of 10 and thought the price for "chicken & ribs" was outrageous. I can definitely understand people not being able to justify the cost.

But, if you would really like to try it, think of it this way. You are getting bread, salad and some sides along with your meal. You also get dessert and all this food is unlimited(skip lunch so you go hungry ;) ). And while the food gets mixed reviews, I think it is very good for what it is. Its definiely not gourmet, but if you like ribs & chicken you should be happy. If you drink beer or sangria, you will definitely get your moneys worth there. They are very generous with the pitchers(be sure to use the restrooms before taking a bus back to your resort as it could take a while ;) ). The food and drink alone could make the price worth it, but then there is the show on top of it all. If you went to dinner, had even a couple drinks, and got tickets to a separate show you would easily be paying that price.

Think of the $50 like this: You are paying to see a show AND have dinner. That's like $25 for dinner and $25 for an entertaining live show.

I think it's a deal. Especially if, as CamColt said, you drink beer or sangria.
