Hoop Dee Doo Review or Kona/Whispering Canyon?

Our no park day we are doing Kona for breakfast and Whispering Canyon for dinner, should we forgo the both of these for Hoop Dee Do Review?

Have you been to HDDR before? If not, see it!!! It is tons of fun! The food is very good (comfort food) and comparable to WC.

Hoop Dee Doo is a favorite of ours for many years. We "bearly" ever miss a chance to see this show and eat there. The cornbread is nice and sweet, the fried chicken is moist and tender, the ribs sticky and tender, and the entertainment always brings a smile to our faces.

We were at the HDDR just last night for the first time in years and had a really great time. I'd say it trumps all other choices.

Personally, our family does not like HDDR at all! One suggestion that has been made on these boards lately (and I think it is a GREAT idea--would have saved us $400 or so) is to google then watch some of the HDDR on youtube to see if it's your cup of tea. Who knows, maybe you'll be one of the many who have discovered at no expense to themselves--that HDDR is not your kind of meal either.

I love Kona for breakfast, and WCC is great.

I wasn't impressed at all with the food at HDDR. Maybe it was just a bad night? But the chicken was flavorless and dry, and the ribs were cold and dry. The mashed potatoes were so thin they dripped off the spoon. I loved the salad, corn bread, and strawberry shortcake. They + the show weren't really worth the cost though.

I would stick with what you have reserved already. Kona Cafe offers great breakfast....try the Tonga Toast and WC is lots of fun and the all-you-care-to-eat skillet is great! They also have all you can drink milk shakes!

Keep trying everyday, at least once a day if not more. I did that so much one cast member rembered talking to me in the morning. but that's ok after the umpteen try I got what i wanted. Good luck, keep trying

The Hood De Doo is kinda corny but fun. The food however is not all that. It tastes just fine but sort of dull. I'm not a fan of the ribs i guess but for what you pay for its not worth the price. Unless you are a big fan of Hee Haw. then you will love it.
