After reading all the wonderful reviews of the Hoop Dee Doo on this board I decided to schedule it for our upcoming trip. We are going on our first night the 9:30 show. The CM that booked it said there were 42 tables left for that show. Does anyone know about how many tables are in the restaurant and what are our chances of getting a good seat. I understand that the balcony just doesn't provide the same interaction as being on the floor. Thanks for your help!!!

I'm not sure how many tables they have, but you have a real good chance of being downstairs. This place is large.

Balcony seats are fine, because the cast does send people up to that level as well.

I would get to the hall early and when you pick-up your tickets, ask for a downstairs location.

We were just there in April and our table number was pre-assigned on our tickets.

There seemed to be over 100 tables in the hall...it's quite a big place.

But regardless of your seats, the cast does a ton of interacting in the audience. You will have a blast!

I just read on Tikiman's site (http://tikiman2001.homestead.com/index.html)that seating is now done according to who checks in at the podium first. So if you bought the last 2 tickets available, but were the first two in line for the show, you get the primo seating. The reccomendation was to arrive about 45 mins. prior to show.

Thanks for the replies!!! I really hope to get a close seat this is a once in a lifetime for us. I wouldn't normally spend this much on a meal but this is probably our last trip to WDW!!!

Where did you see that on that site? It looked like it was all on the Poly?

I wish Disney would give out the correct information then! I called last night and Dining told me AGAIN that it was based on when you made your reservation. I guess we will find out when we get there.

That is mentioned about Pioneer Hall? Is this right at the doors to get in?
