hoop dee doo question

I am heading down for 8 nights in late August. I have created my account online and am trying to book a reservation for the Hoop Dee Doo. I have tried every time slot for the 8 days and there is NOTHING available. Anyone know why this would be? I have never seen everything booked.

I was thinking there was 1 day during the week they didn't do a show, and I had to change some stuff to go there. That was a way back, so that may not be right.

Not to dispute Rusty who is very knowledgable, but I've heard elsewhere that HDDR will be going down for Refurb on August 5th. Some reports have it re opening at the end of August, other reports say it may be closed until November.

I was unable to book HDD for early Aug, CM said it was undergoing refurbishment 8/5

1) Very possible.
2) But, like others, I don't credit rumors until WDW says so.
3) Rumors and bus drivers are too often wrong.

Someone in another thread said that a CM checked while on the phone and told them it was going down from August until the end of December. Sounds like a bit long for a refurb ... Hoping it's wrong, we were hoping to go there in October.

Yes- the CM confirmed to me that it will be down for refurb from Aug 4 to Dec! We tried to get ressie in late Aug!!

gah. Thanks for further confirmation of the dates ... though it's very disappointing. We were exicted to finally try HDDR this trip.
