Would a 3 year old be entertained at the Hoop-dee-doo musical revue? Not sure if I should attempt with her. Also, how long does the show usually last? If she gets too antsy would we be able to leave?

YEA!!!! My three year old LOVED it! I was shocked, but she was enraptured by the singing and dancing and I could hardly get her to look down long enought to eat.:rotfl: She also liked the food, once I got her to eat something. The chicken and the corn bread were her favorites, as well as dessert. It is about 2 hours long and the time flies by. If you ever take your child out for dinner, they will be more than capable of sitting in their chair for this one.

Have a great time.

Can she sit in a chair for an entire meal in a restaurant? If yes, then no problem.

Hoop De Doo isn't your average dinner show. Let me put it to you this way. We took our teenage son who was absolutely mortified to be going. If he could have rolled his eyes anymore, they would have dropped out.

Guess who grabbed that washboard out of my hands at the end of the show? And I mean literally grabbed the thing out of my hands!

And yes, you can take your daughter out if she gets antsy. The restrooms are outside of the show area anyway.

We just went last week with our almost three year old. He LOVED it! We were right near the stage, and there was plenty to keep him busy. The girls even gave him a little attention.
He did get a little antsy near the end, and I was able to take him over to the bathroom, and then I stood in the back, out of the way for a few minutes.
Like another poster said, if they can sit for a meal, you should have NO problems. We're going to do it again next trip!

Amen....as nice as I can put it.....go for it if they are behaved and can sit through dinner without getting loud as the entertainers are very close and move around the room...
also just common sense for the enjoyment of folks around you to let all the attention be on the performers.
Show and dinner is about an hour to hour and 15. The performers entertain for a while during drinks and then dinner is served and there is a piano player...then tables cleared and show starts again...you can keep drinking...

We went with our 14 month old and one not yet three... Both smiled and clapped almost the entire time we were there... They were well behaved and sat for the whole thing!
