Can anyone offer insite to the Hoop Dee Doo's seating? I know that on the DDP we'll be in Catagory 2 or 3, but is the balcony a better choice than the back row on the ground floor? I've seen pictures online of the seating arrangement and it looks crowded on the floor...want a good view since we'll be spending 2 TS credits. Also, we'll have 5 children ages 7 and 3 with us.

I like being on the first floor. We were in the last row on the main floor and found it to be great. The tables and chairs are higher so you have a view over the people in front of you.

thanks so much for all the info. Hill6, the pictures were a great help. I can now see that the view from above is great. By the way, we'll be there May 10-17 as well...at CBR. Can't wait for the reservation system to open up so we can get those ADRs.

I thought I just read (need to remember where) that cat 2 could be the balcony as well. Ah, found it:

Category 2 offers either a great table on the first floor behind the Category 1 seating below the balcony or in the center of the balcony on the 2nd floor. Either way, you're still facing the stage so you can get a wonderful view of the entire performance.

Category 3 offers tables that are located on the right hand side or left hand side of the balcony on the 2nd floor. You won't miss a moment of the fun and excitement as you enjoy the panoramic view of the entire stage production.

That is from allearsnet I hope it is ok to copy that here.

I actually just booked cat 2 today. So excited!

Glad the pictures were helpful. The cast members do go through the upstairs area as you can see.

I can't wait for them to open up the dining as well. I got one reservation for CRT for Mother's Day but I pretty much know all the others I need to make. We have Deluxe Dining and will be doing a few upscale dinners for the experience. There are four adults.

Maybe we can meet up.

I was just there last Sunday and the balcony seats were great. We booked late so that was all that was available. I don't plan to sit on the first floor again. I paid cash as I was not doing the dining plan this time so my credit card was charged in full as soon as I made the reservation. How does it work if you use the dining plan? Do they just take your credit card number for cancellation purposes, or do they charge your credit card in full and then credit you back when you use the dining plan? Thanks for any info.

We loved the balconey. We had it our last two times. I have been over a dozen times and can honestly say that the balcony is the best.

The following is a link to our pictures from last year.

scroll to the right and you can see the rest of the pictures.

It looks over crowded on the main floor and the balcony seating looks like the patrons would have to watch through the railing slats. I am rethinking making a reservation.

We have sat in Cat 2 in the back of the first floor and had no issue with our view--and we had our three kids with us 7mo, 3 and 8. We also sat Cat 1 on our last trip and loved it--we did the 930 show on the dining plan--It was awesome. Both my husband and my nephew were part of the show and we felt like they were talking directly to us. I am doing Cat 3 with my daughter later this week as this was all that was left when I booked last minute. So now we will be able to give you some real feedback as we will have sat in all places! I love the show and have no problem watching it again and again.
