While staying at Saratoga Springs we have a reservation on 8/26 for the hoop dee doo show. We would also like to explore the Wilderness Lodge before since we have never been there and are thinking of staying there next trip.
My question is would they let me park at the Wilderness Lodge to look around and then use the boat to get to the campsites and the hoop dee doo?
The only other time we have been to the campsites was last year when we ate at trails end but we were already at Magic Kingdom that day. We will not be at a park that day this year, we are just having a resort day with lots of swimming.
With a 4 year old and an 8 month old I really don't want to have to bus from Saratoga to MK then boat over as my guess is that would take 1 hour to an hour and a half each way. Thanks!!

You can just park at Fort Wilderness and boat between there and Wilderness Lodge to check out the resort before or after the show. From the main parking area there it is a short internal bus ride to Pioneer Hall and the boat docks.
Although Wilderness Lodge is not normally restrictive with its parking, it's generally frowned upon to park at resort you are not a guest of and leave your car there for an extended period of time to go somewhere else.

They won't stop you normally but yes it's frowned upon. Be aware that if you park at the campground, you must take an internal bus from the front of the campground to the back of it to get to Pioneer Hall. This will add at least 20 minutes to your arrival time.

Thanks for the replies. I think we will just drive to the campsites and visit Wilderness Lodge by boat on a day we are at Magic Kingdom
