Can anyone tell me if you can use 1 table service for this dinner show and pay the remainder in cash. I'd like to book this on our last night and will have 1 table service left.

No. Any place that is on DDP it is either pay by DDP or pay OOP. If you only have one DDP credit remaining you cannot use that plus cash to pay for a 2 credit meal.

Had read on this site that after you use up the first day if dining plan can then add to it so you might ask ask on check in if it is possible to buy another TS or day. You do have to reserve and pay by credit card any dinner show

That is still a rumor AFAIK - I don't think it ever happened. And the rumor was that you had to purchase an entire additional day's worth of credits at a higher than the average price.

not sure how many are in your party but if it is an even number of people you could pay for half out of pocket and half with credits.

Not sure how that would work since the dining plan is based on the number of nights you stay. I have been doing the dining plan for many many years and never heard of such a thing. I can't imagine you could add another day of dining without booking another night in your resort. Isn't that the whole point? Disney would lose money that way.

You do not have to pay with a cc if you're on the dining plan. You have to call, and use your cc in case you're a no show, but you can use credits without anything going on your card. And don't know where you heard you could buy more days, but that's just not so.

Is there a more inexpensive meal (maybe a breakfast?) earlier in your trip that you could pay for out of pocket, thus leaving enough TS credits to pay for Hoop de Doo?

As I posted, it was a rumor posted here by a DIS rumor spreader - it was moved to the rumors board and I haven't heard anything about it lately. It included a supposed flyer that was put on the CM board at the Poly explaining how it was going to work. Check the rumors board, I'm sure you can find it.

This remains on the rumors and news board for a reason - which is that no one has actually reported being able to do it, and the indications right now are that it isn't true.

And for those prices you could just pay to go to HDDR.
