Something like 30 years ago I sat behind the spot light operator in the balcony in the back of the theater. As I recall (please correct me), the tables in the back are regular tables (not one-sided).

We have had Cat 3 and 2, and will have 1 this time (we are a larger group now and would have had two tables otherwise - so this got us together). But, with Cat 3 - you are in the balcony on the sides and you turn to face the show from the table - now that we have a toddler that scared me a little as she would probably stand in her seat. On the main floor I don't have to worry as much about that. Our Cat 2 table - there were 6 of us - was in the middle of the balcony, which was quite good. And, the kids on that trip were old enough not to approach the rail and hang over it.
