Hoop Dee Do Review

My husband and I are frequent Disney visitors in our early 50's and have spent many wonderful nights at fine Disney restaurants but never have gone to the Hoop Dee Do Review. A friend told us that we should go at least once so . . . . I've made reservations and got them for the 7:15 show on one of our "down days" but they are in the Third Tier. Has anyone ever had dinner on the Third Tier -- one the sides of the theatre? Of course I'll continue to call and try to change to a different Tier but was hoping to get some input on the Third Tier. Thanks so much!

We have sat in the upper level four times and we prefer that, over sitting in the lower level. We enjoy the view from there.

I agree that, if you never been, it's worth attending, IMO. We like the food and the performance. We find it to be entertaining and relaxing, so much so, that we're going back again in May, and once again, I've had the girls request that I make reservations for the upper level.

I have a different opinion, but it was a long time ago we sat upstairs. The seats we had did not face the stage. Your back is to the stage. They bring your food out in between acts, but you can still be eating when they do some of it so for us we did not like that we had to keep turning around.. I am pretty sure the chairs were swivel, but can't be 100% on that.
But I have read several posts on here from people that say they do like the upper seats.

We were in the balcony and it was no problem at all. I almost picked it again for our second time seeing the Hoop Dee Doo.

By the way, there's a reason why the show has been running 365 days a year since the early 1970's.
