We are going to Disney in Oct for a quick weekend trip. We have been a dozen times, one couple has been two times and the rest of the group has never been. We are going to the MNSSHP on Friday night, Hoop Dee Do Saturday evening. Epcot on Sunday and drive home Monday. We will have 10 to 15 total not sure yet.. I am paying for my group and all the kids. Do you pay ahead? Is it refundable? How do I pay for part of the group and some people get their own tickets? Can we all be seated together if tickets are not purchased together? Can 15 people be seated together or is this to large a group. We have a campground reservation for the night we are going to the show. What is the chances we will be able to walk from a tent site to the show? If not ,how is the bus service to the show?

1) Yes. From the website: “Prepayment is required. Cancellations may result in charges if made with insufficient notice. Specific policies will be detailed at the time of reservation booking.” I don’t know if things have changed since I went, but I’ve had to call in to book, but I’d check the Disney World website first.

2) You choose your seating in advance when you book reservations, the earlier the better for a large group. The cost of the experience depends on which level of seating you choose.

3) The walk from tent site 2000 would be prohibitive, but in-resort busses will get you there. The walk from loop 1500 is doable, probably 20 minutes or so, but I wouldn’t suggest it if you have young kids. If you’re reserving closer loops, say 100 to 300, etc., it’s walkable. I’d suggest getting a map of the Fort while keeping in mind that the distances are longer than one would think by looking at it. The winding roads add time/distance.

Hope this helps a little :)
