if you have the dining plan booked, there should be no charge to your card.

I don't know if that applies to reservations made way far in advance (like 2 years from now, when the rates have not been released)

thank you! that's what i was hoping to hear.

No they will not charge your card...you only get charged if you don't show up for your reservation...we do it every year and I hold the reservation for my whole family...

They were going to charge me, they asked for a cc #... which i gave because they will charge no shows, then in the middle i reminded her i was on the meal plan so she couldn't figuire out how to cancel it and rebooked the HDR... well, my card was charged 125..... so i called earlier this week and discussed the cc charge... hopefully it didn't remove my AR... i figuire i'll check again when i see the charge off my account.

If you are NOT on the dining plan, they WILL charge your card. It is refundable until 48 hrs. prior, but when I made my PS (as it was called then :) ) 6 months ago, my card was charged immediately for the full amount.

I wanted to bump this up because I had a question about the Hoop-De-Doo review.

I had gone about eight years ago, on my honeymoon. We had a blast, but I was newly married and my mind was on other things. Now I would be taking my children in October, ages 2 and a half and 15 months, and my nieces and nephew ages from 15 mths to age 8. Is this something that all ages can enjoy? I think it would be fun, but I was wondering what others' experiences were. Thank you.

I made ps's for hoop a few months ago and told them I was on the dining plan. They asked for my credit card, but it has never been charged. I think it was 3 months ago.

If you are planning to use credits from the Dining Plan, be sure to tell them that. In that case, they are not *supposed* to charge your card (although I'm sure some do, anyway). They will still take your cc number, and use it simply as a guarantee. If you don't cancel at least 48 hours prior, or if you don't show, then your card will be charged.

If you are not using the Dining Plan, then your card will be charged the full amount at the time of booking. HTH!! :flower:
