We're checking in on a Saturday and have ressies for Hoop de Doo the following Wednesday.

Is there any way to have the tickets already in our 'check in package' so we get them then or do we have to pick them up separately?

I'm getting so excited. FP+ opens for us tomorrow!!

Which brings me to my second question, more just out of curiosity.....when we went in 2015 I was able to make FP+ selections at midnight FL time, which was 9 pm 'the night before' my local time. Now I see it's telling me that I can't make them until 7am FL time which means I'll be getting up at like 3.30 to get my coffee and computer revved up by 4am (my local time).

Can anyone tell me when/why they changed from the midnight window opening?

Thanks all! See ya at the Fort!

Stormy, as for the HDDR tix,

If you go into the Outpost Check-in lobby when you arrive at the Fort, there are four computer terminal stations (if memory serves).

Two are for check-in.
One may be for check-out.

And one is the Dining/Concierge desk where you can probably get your HDDR tix. There is a Concierge/Dining window down at Pioneer Hall next to HDDR that I usually transact business at during my stay but if you want to knock it all out at once, you can do it at check-in but there are two different stations as I said.

And I could be mistaken about FP....

but now instead of FP+10 I think you can only do one day at a time for FP. So if you plan three days in the parks, you may have to get up early on three different mornings to make FP at the max window. IIRC this change went in when they implemented the canceled-room-cancels-FP which helps us Fort folks with the throwaway room concept.

HDDR is a blast. It's a lot of corny fun, music, and jokes. And the food is good and the beer is cold!

Thanks, Ed. I was hoping they'd be able to just put the tickets in the package they hand us when we drive up to the check in kiosk-thingy.

That's going to make me nuts if I have to get up at 3.30 for the next 13 days! But you know what, I'll still do it. Because that's just the way I am. ‍

Just talked to a friend who is at WDW staying on property now he was able to his FP's for his entire trip at the 60 day mark. The website site also still says this:

"Just link park admission to your Disney account to start using FastPass+ service. With a ticket or pass, you can make your selections up to 30 days in advance—starting at 7:00 AM Eastern Time. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you can make your FastPass+ selections up to 60 days prior to check-in for the entire length of your stay."

I can't remember exactly when it happened but when we went in Nov 2015 we did them at midnight but for our trip in Oct 2017 we did them at 7a. I want to say I read something about them wanting to standardize so that both ADR's and FP's were done in the morning.

We have done the both the HDDR and MBBBQ 2 times now and when even I asked about tickets I was told to just show up that night and we didn't need them.

For HDDR tickets, as of last week, per the Concierge at the Outpost checkin lobby, we had to pick our tickets up at a kiosk outside the HDDR 45 minutes before the show. Would have much preferred to pick them up at the Concierge Desk in the lobby rather than waiting in another line. Oh well - it was worth the wait. The show was fantastic and worth every penny.

Thanks, Fort Friends!!!

1- I was able to make FP+ ressies for the entire stay this morning. System was down and glitchy for about 2 hours at first. You'd book, confirm, enter, nope! Nothing there. Time selections were there, then gone. The calendar wouldn't let you select dates. It was crazy. I think my nDH (nonDisney Husband) was looking for the tranquilizer dart gun at one point. But I finally got it done AND got what I wanted pretty much when I wanted it.

2- I'll plan on picking up the HdD tix at the Pioneer Outpost. I'll try to get them on Saturday after we check in, but understand that I may have to line up early on the day of. I'll double check with the check in CM.

So, dining made, FP+ made, advance check in done. Now, what am I going to do to pass time until we leave??? Oh yeah.....deep clean the trailer inside, stock the trailer, wash the trailer, wax the trailer. Dang! That trailer is more 'high maintenance' than I am!!!

PS You guys are great!!!

Someone posted on the Kenny The Pirate FB group that they had issues this morning as well and it took them about 3 hours to get them set.

It certainly was frustrating!! Especially when you have to get up at 4 AM to do it!
