Hi
There is probably a link on here already about this show but I cant find it. Im traveling with my sons 7yr and 2yrs. Im trying to find a show that will entertain both of them. Someone suggested the Hoo Dee Doo show. Has anyone ever been and can tell me what its like? Do you think it would keep my 2 year old somewhat entertained also the 7yr old (who isnt easily amused!!!)
I would love to do just one sit down dinner show in our vacation but as the budget only allows for one I would love it to be a good one. Thanks in advance. ps..we are going 8th - 15th May..CBR.

The Hoop de Doo show will definitely keep your kids entertained! It is interactive during parts of the show and if you get a table near the front of the stage (we were in the second row), you will most likely get some attention from one of the singers... :thumbsup2

We love Hoop-Dee-Doo. We just were there this past Wednesday for our 2nd time and my boys (8 & 5) loved it as much as the first time. The food is good and the show will have everyone laughing. My 5 year old got to go up on stage and be the Texas Ranger.

Thank you for the input..we just booked online and got category 1 seating for Mothers' Day so that will be a lot of fun. What a great way to spend mothers day eh? I cant wait.

We've been twice with our boys - the first time, they were 2 & 4; the second time, 3 & 5 - they LOVED it both times.

we go everytime. Our kids are 22, 17 and 14 now and still love it. We were just there over New Years. It is a great time!

Hello PKTBMouse;

DS18 and I (Mom 44) have 5p ADR's for 5/11....due to GREAT REVIEWS on here!

Maybe we'll 'see you then!'....

Have a magical visit!

We like this show as an arrival day event. This year though, we are a party of 7. Me, DH, DD7 and DD1 and my brother and two of his kids, 8 and 10. Many of our dining choices note that we may be seated at two tables. But, the configuration of most makes it pretty easy to put two tables together, so even if we have to wait a bit, we should be ok. I don't really want to separate as the kids need to be with an adult, and one person would always be the odd one out. This is really 6 and a high chair, so I am hoping they can seat us together, but I am not sure about Hoop Dee Do on this point. Anyone recall how the tables are put together here? Will I have to get Category 1?

I hate having to be the voice of dissent here!

We went last year when the girls were 2.5 and 4.5 - honestly it was a bit of a nightmare with my 2.5 year old. She wanted to leave pretty shortly after the beginning. She was just really bored and restless and I had to walk around the restaurant with her (which was fine, nobody minded). She was also terrified of a giant buffalo head on the wall.. sigh. I felt stressed the whole time with trying to keep her interested. She loves music and singing so I thought she'd be entranced by the whole thing but not at all.It was just way too long for her and we had the early seating.

The high point of our evening was going on the horse-drawn carriage ride after.
