We have reservations for Oct 25, where exactly is it located and do we need to arrive early? Also how long does it last as we wnt to make reservations for Haunter carriage ride after?

The show is at Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness, which is right next to Trails End Restaurant. From the dock (boat from MK) it is a less than 5 minute walk. If you are driving or taking the bus, that's more conplicated (and not in my skill set, sorry).

When you arrive, they (usually) have a photo opportunity and you can purchase the photos later. Also, a short while before the show time, they will ask you to check in (they mark you down on a clipboard) so they know if they have the table configuration worked out properly. These are the only reasons to go earlier than your showtime, because they will not seat any earlier than the assigned time.

It lasts a full two hours.

If you are driving or taking a bus, park (or exit bus) at front of Fort Wilderness. Then wait for any of the busses going to the Outpost (Orange, Yellow or Purple) and get off there. Pioneer Hall (Hoopdedoo) is in the Outpost area. Those busses run constantly.

We just went a few weeks ago and I would reccomend getting there a little early (15 mins) as they check your reservation ticket before allowing you to get in line. If you don't have a reservation ticket with you, you can have one printed out at the window next to Pioneer Hall.

It seems the whole show lasted about 1 1/2 hrs or so - I didn't really check to see when we were done, but I don't think it was longer than that, so I guess your plans depend on what time your reservation is for. Have fun! It's the best!

Close, but HDDR is in the SETTLEMENT area of FW. The park buses drop you off at OUTPOST.

As for the Huanted carriage ride, I believe it starts right in the Settlement area so you would not have to go very far from the show.

You didn't say where you would be coming from, or which show you're attending. If at MK take the boat. From Epcot, we like to take the monorail to MK and take the boat. If you're at DHS the bus to FW/WL stops first at WL, then at Pioneer Hall, where the show is. From AK, you're on your own. If at your resort, take a bus to DHS and hop on the FW bus. It will be the path of least resistance.
The show lasts right at 2 hours. Getting home is easy peasy. They'll let you know there.

Unfortunalty all park buses now go to the Outpost stop(not Pioneer Hall). However coming from ANY park except MK, the bus to FW would be the fastes route. Once you arrive at FW(as was mentioned above)you will need to take any internal bus to Settlement. If the bus from the park stops at WL first, you can get off at WL and take a bus to FW, this might save a few minutes, but only if you are on a shared WL/FW bus that stops at WL first.

I believe when we did the HDDR they told us to check in 30 minutes early. The disney bus system is awesome getting there and back to your resort. We do the 9:30 show and we were concerned about getting back to our resort but the bus drivers told you exactly what bus to get on after the show and they take you back to the resort. We will be at HDDR again this Feb.

If you want pictures, then check in early. We always like to check in early and then let my DD play at the play area near by. If you're there more than 30 minutes early, you will see the previous show (if you're one of the later shows) leave the theatre. Then it's about a 15 minute time span between them all leaving and getting the place ready for the next show.

I will say that if there is a chance of rain that evening, don't take the boat!! Trust me from experience...sitting through the show wet and cold takes a bit from the experience...until you have enough Bud Lights to compensate!

We've taken the boat down from WL and we've driven our car and parked at the outpost and then taken a bus down. Both are very easy to do.

HAHA! Sorry - I was backwards, you're right. And yes, the carriage ride is almost right across the walkway from Pioneer Hall.
