Hoop de Doo

We have 9:30 Hoop de Doo resservations and will be coming to them from Downtown Disney. What is our best bet? Does a bus run from DTD to Fort Wilderness?

Also, I traded in ressies at Yachtsman for this dinner show. I have 3 kids, ages 9, 6, and 7. I also traded ressies at Chefs de France for Garden Grill because of the kids. Did I make good choices for the kids?

We will have a few "adult-type" meals:

Boatwrights for Breakfast
Coral Reef for Dinner
and
Narcoossees

Yes there is a bus from DTD to FW, once you arrive in FW though you will need to take an internal FW to the Setlement area where the HDDR is, just board any color Settlement bus that arrives, Orange is fastest, goes up the center camping loops, Yellow is a little slower, goes up the outer camping loops, Purple is the slowest, it goes through the cabin loops. That being said take the first one that arrives the difference is usually less than 5min.

Your kids will love the show, it is corny funny, my kids love it(they are 15 and 12 now but went for the first time 5 years or so ago).

Thanks--when the kids talk about Disney now, the first things they talk about were the horses at Fort Wilderness we went to see after eating at Trails End. We live in rural North Carolina yet they act as if they had never seen a horse before. I had a hard time deciding between this and the luau, but I think this will be the better choice for my son (7).

I think you made an excellent choice...This show is great for the whole family...DH and I agree that it is something that every one should do at least once....We went a few years ago when are kids were very small...They both smiled and clapped almost the entire meal...DH and I really liked the food and we like that the kids can get something from next door because they (like most kids) are picky...You will enjoy it...I would actually put this on the adult meal list because the adults love it too...It is not quiet or romantic and the food is not fancy....But it is something adults enjoy too.

You have a nice list of places on your list....You should have great vacation!
