with 2 DS's that are 7 and 4? I'm just rethinking the decision to go because it's 2 credits on the DDP and if the boys would really enjoy it that much or would my money (or credits) be better spent elsewhere? Are they too young to really enjoy it?

The 7 year old should get some of the corny jokes, the 4 year old will probably like it also, but not get it. As far as other stuff more worth it?? :confused3 If you want 2 hours(basically) of entertainment, and all the food you can eat, and adult beverages for you included also...... If that type of stuff doesnt sound fun then no, probably not worth it ..

It is hard to say if it is worth it for you or not?

The show is a pretty good entertainment value and the gratuity is included with this as well. Also if you drink alcohol at all there is some included.

You could probably get food that is just as good elsewhere, and 2TS for boys that age could equal to 2 character meals at other places.

No matter your choice have a magical vacation:wizard:

My dd first saw it when she was 4 and loved it so much requested we go back (which we did last year). I haven't told her yet we are skipping it this year (only because we ran out of time).

My two kids were about the same age and loved it. Sure they didn't get all of the jokes but they were belly laughing most of the time.:rotfl2: :lmao: The food was tasty and plentiful; this was by far one of our favorite meals of the trip. No, it's not gourmet, but it's delicious comfort food.:cloud9: We loved the cornbread, fried chicken, and pitchers of sangria.:drinking1 My kids can't wait to go back to HDDR on our next trip.:woohoo:

I think your kids would like it. Even if they don't really get all the jokes, they will be entertained the whole time! As long as you are okay with using the 2 TS credits, then it is worth it. It is a dinner show, so you are paying for all you can eat, plus the entertainment. Have fun!

If the kids are energetic and you're going at a quieter time of the year, I'd do Mickey's Backyard Barbeque vs. Hoop Dee Doo. I've heard it's hellacious in the peak season, but we loved it in the off season. There are characters plus the kids get to get up, run around and dance for quite a bit of it. Adult beverages and unlimited Mickey Bars are also included. I'm not sure if it's on the DPP tho' because we just pay out of pocket.
