Will the boats be running after the 7:15pm show if the MK is only open until 10pm? I don't want to stuck at Fort Wilderness and have to find the right bus (as I read about in a recent thread). Thanks!

The boats should still be running.

But finding your bus is absolutely no big deal. We just did this two weeks ago and their was a cast member directing you to the appropriate bus when you got near the bus stop.

They bring the buses all the way back to the Pioneer Hall area, so it's easier than you might think.

The busses were not all the way back to the Pioneer Hall area two weeks ago. They use the regular Pioneer Hall Fort Wilderness bus stop. Or do you just mean that you don't have to take an internal bus to the front of the campground? The bus stop is a very short walk from Pioneer Hall.

Ok so how long is each show? If we see the 7:15 show, is there a bus that goes directly to Hollywood Studios? HA has evening emh's the night we are going to HDDR until 1am. Thanks.

I think the show is about two hours. I am not sure if the FW bus to the studios leaves from the Pioneer Hall bus stop or from the bus stop at the front of the campground. You might try checking the camping board for the exact bus routes. It wouldn't be a special bus for those getting out of the Hoop I don't think, just the regular bus from Ft Wilderness to the Studios.

I've read that they don't have as much special/direct transportation for the early show. Perhaps that's the difference?

For us, at the 7:15 show, there were several buses for the resorts a short walk away from HDDR.. Some of them may have taken indirect routs to the parks, but I think the primary purpose is to get you back to the resorts.

When we went last summer, there were several cast members directing you to the correct bus. We stayed at POR & our bus also went to POFQ & one other resort. The driver asked by show of hands who was going where, to which bus stops so they were no unnecessary stops. We saw the 7:15 show. We loved it!

The bus stop a short walk from the HDDR is the regular Fort Wilderness bus stop. They just have extra busses there when the HDDR gets out. Fort Wilderness has kind of a complicated bus system - you take an internal bus to the front or back of the campground. From their you take another bus to a theme park (or the boat to the Magic Kingdom). Its been a while since I stayed at the Fort so I can't remember which theme park busses board at the Pioneer Hall stop and which board at the stop at the front of the campground.
