How long is the show? We have the 9:30 tier 3 seating on June 29th (all that was available) and don't want to be out too late since we will be at the Magic Kingdom at 8am for EMH. Also, we are staying at the Contemporary Resort, what is the best way back to the resort? Bus to Magic Kingdom and then monorail?

We did that time a couple of years ago. I don't think we got out of there until almost 11:30. Then we had to take a bus back to the parking lot and drive our car back to our resort. There should be a bus that will take you back to your resort, but don't plan on getting back until around midnight.

The show is about 1 1/2 hours, but then you have to bus back to parking lot and catch additional transportation from there. It will be a very late night. For this reason we did the 5ish show.

I'd love to do this show. I can't talk DH or the kids into it. The saw it on YouTube and won't even consider it now. Someday!

As long as we are back by midnight we should be good to go for the next day. We will be arriving by a Disney bus from Downtown Disney, is it pretty obvious where to go from there? Also, we will have our own car at the resort, should we just take it instead of Disney transportation?

The show is about 1 1/2 hours. There actually is a boat directly to the Contemporary. We took it in August when we were staying at the GF, since the boat line to MK was very long.

The show is at least 2 hours.
We went to the 9:30 one last year. The show before us didn't even get out till after 9:30. But they do clean fast and let the next group in right away. I think it was close to midnight when we got on the bus to go back to the resort.
This year we did the 7:15 show. The show before got out a few minutes before 7:15. Again the show was at least 2 hours.

Both those shows have buses waiting to take you back to your resort. This year we had 6 resorts on the bus and it was so PACKED. I think it was illegal how packed it was.
Last year we had only 2 resorts on our bus and there was maybe 10 people tops on it.
The show is great, but going to the 9:30 show, don't expect to be out much earlier than midnight.
I'm not sure if the boats still run that late or not to go back to the contempory.
