I just got off the phone with group reservations, 180 days out 7:30am est to make reservations for hoop de doo for 15 people, DS 3rd bday and kick off to our first multi family reunion trip. The first CM told me NO seats for us at the 7:15, together or seperate. When I asked, very confused, how they could have booked completely in an hour. The first CM told me its because I was booking late
like I should have booked monthes ago!!! (I wish I could have) I then spoke to a supervisor who again was trying to get me to book the 5:00 and the 9:15 I told her it was too late for the little kids and I was pretty sure the whole party would not be in Orlando yet for the 5:15. Well, I got the ressie, they "found" me a catagory 2, I will keep calling to see if I can get it upgraded to a cat 1.
I was so frustrated I thought for sure we'd get great seats on the floor. The adults in the group are a riot, and the kids are great "participators" so we are really looking forward to being in the middle. I know it will still be tons fun.
This is the first adr I've made for this trip, and I have a couple more large groups to make. Any one have any advice, or a good explantion for why no seats were available. Best we came up with is they didn't want too many large tables on the floor. I wish they had said that or offered up the cat 2 earlier. It seemed like they were trying to book the other two shows.
