Ow does it work if you have a dining plan and use credits for this where payment is normally required in advance? Does it just take your card to guarantee it? Or do you get charged and then refunded when you use the credit ?

You'll need to go through MDE to link your resort/dining plan to make the dinner show reservation. When you use your dining plan credits to reserve the HDDR, you will not be charged anything, but you will still need to give your credit card info for the cancellation/no show guarantee. If the online system wants to charge the full pre-payment amount to your card at the time you make the reservation, you'll need to call and book it on the phone. Be sure you are booking a seating category and show time that is included in the dining plan.

They will just take your credit card in case of a no show/cancellation when you call to book it. Just tell them you will be using the DDP over the phone. When you are at your resort, you will have to go to the concierge to pick up your tickets for the show and the dining credits will be taken.
