Can we take our double stroller in there? We are not level 1 seating, does that mean we are not floor level?

Does anyone know? I'm sure hoping that we can.

I'm sure someone else will know for sure, but IIRC, I REALLY don't think there's room for a double stroller (or even a single one) among the tables.

And yep, if you're not on the ground level, then you'll have to walk upstairs to the 2nd floor.

I LOVE the Hoop de Doo. GREAT show!

Great show, you're going to love it!

I was just there and I can't remember seeing any strollers and to be frank, there's really no room for even a single stroller. Maybe someone else who ha experience can better answer this :)

... we were at the 5PM show on August 16th ... we had Cat. 2 balcony seating. We were asked to leave our single stroller "on the outside porch". We were told we could lug it up the stairs if we really needed too, but thankfully we didn't need to. Space is tight ... there really isn't room for strollers up or downstairs.

We brought our single stroller inside in May, but that's because my dd was sleeping in it, lol. We did the 9:30 show and she was only 10 months at the time. It's so loud in there, I can't believe she slept through almost the whole thing!

We will have 3mo old twins, and I just can't imagine not having them in the stroller...we are going to the 9:30 show, as well, and I'm thinking they will sleep, too. Did you have to carry the stroller up steps??

If I can't bring it I'm thinking we might cancel...

I also heard it is a bit of a pain to get there, transportation wise, and some walking involved, was this the case??

Our youngest DD was 3 months old on our 2006 trip and we were allowed to bring her stroller into the 5:00 pm show. The stroller was a Peg Perego P3 so medium sized. We were seated up front near the piano player, last table to the right so she was out of the way.

That's the problem with Hoop Dee Doo and strollers. A lot of the show takes place around the diners. The performers would have to go around a stroller in the aisle. Same thing with the food servers (and they go really fast in bringing out the food and taking away the plates because they don't want to be in the way either).

If you absolutely need a stroller for your infants, I would give Hoop Dee Doo a pass on this trip.

I'm going to call them and let them know I have a double stroller that I need to bring and see what they say...if not I will have to pass on it this time.

Thanks everyone!

We did have to carry the stroller up the front steps, but we had quite a large group so we had some help. We were seated next to a support post downstairs, so we just took the chair out from the spot next to the post, and put her there, so she wasn't in the aisle. Is your stroller a side by side, or a front and back? I'm thinking a side by side would be a little more difficult. The getting there isn't so bad, we just take the boat over, and it's a short walk from the boat dock (about 5 minutes or less).

We will have help too. Ours is a side by side though...

Where do you get the boat from...is it MK?

Yes, just catch the bus to MK and then the boat to Ft. Wilderness. When you go up the dock, you will walk a little further and Pioneer Hall will be on your right. What did WDW say when you called?

A better plan is take the bus to DHS and catch the bus to WL/FW. The second stop is Pioneer Hall.

With the stroller I would think the boat would be easier since you can roll the stroller right on without folding it up, on two buses it would be a lot of lugging the stroller IMO.

When leaving HDDR will be a bus to take you back to your resort. When leaving the Hall go to the right to the buses. Plenty of CMs to help you get to the right bus.

Some more info for the OP - there are several steps leading up to the entrance to HDDR so you would either need to carry the stroller up to the entrance or perhaps have one member of your party go to the entrance and the person with the stroller head to the wheelchair ramp on the left side of the building near the restrooms. There is no elevator in the building at all - the only option is to carry the stroller up to the second floor if that is where you are seated.
