Hi, everyone, I am new here, I have been going to Disney for several years, but I have never tried the Hoop de do revue, I will be going back to Disney in December and was thinking about trying it, is there any advise you can give me?

It's fun, the show is corney, the food is fair, and don't understimate how long it takes to get there. We've done it a few times and we're going back in August.

Ahhh, HDDR, is a rambunctious, exciting, upbeat show that just takes you in for the ride. From the moment that the actors enter the theatre the beat never stops and kids love it. It is corny? Yes. Do you go there because the food is great or unique? No. You go because it's fun!

I've gone twice as a child, and twice with my own family, and we're going again in June!!! Lots of silly fun, good food and..unlimited beer and sangria :cool1: The show hasn't changed much in over 20 years-same jokes and songs -but I still LOL every time :goodvibes

Ketchup?........ I think you may be referring to WCC (whispering Canyon Cafe). They make a big deal there if you ask for ketchup.

We love HDD! :thumbsup2 We are going back in September. :cheer2:
Our faces hurt from laughing soo much! :rotfl2: :rotfl: That is one of the places that my kids (11,7,5) requested for our next trip.
Make sure you plan for plenty of time to get there-esp. with Disney transportation.

Hoop Dee Doo is a must do every time I visit WDW.. The food is ok, the show is funny... The servers are part of the show... Great time.. Trust me.

Please understand the operative word is corny - if you happen to enjoy silly, corny stuff, singing, dancing etc... you probably will love it - My late friend Carol thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. So only you know if that appeals to you. It is pricey and a considerable investment of time - so do it because you think you will love it - not because it is popular.

We rarely miss it. Its all what the above posters state and then some. Hasn't change since we've been going in 1977. All the beer and sangria you want, fried chicken, second to none, corn, ribs, salad and strawberry short pie. You just start laughing as soon as the show starts which is about 5 minutes after you're seated and you have to join in.

Its at FW, tough place to get to if you're not too familar with WDW but doeable. We really prefer the ground floor over the balconies, have no idea how they seat, I think others may know that answer and reservations are hard to get, some book out year in advance, depends on time of year and seating, there's 3 seating a night.

Go, you'll enjoy it and have sore ribs like the rest of us HDDR lovers. Its the longest standing show on property.

Went to HDDR last year. Food was ok, not outstanding, good food, but not fancy. Reminded me of summer picnic, potluck type of food. Show was fun, corny, goofy, but still fun. Probably wouldn't do it again, but wasn't disappointed. Thought the cost was a little high. My DS (6) was picked to be in the show, so that was a real highlight. Glad we went, it was fun, but probably wouldn't go again.

Hoop De Doo is a great show, dinner is pretty good. I would request a table in the middle of the main floor. I love this show and would definately make it a top priority on my "to do" list.
:)

the earlier you book the closer to the stage you get - and being in the front is sooo much fun!
Wish I was there right now!!!
