I was so surprised that I couldnt get a cat 2 or 3 adr for hoop de do revue! i wanted Sept 25 or 26. Only thing I could do was book a category 1. Is it worth spending the extra money???

I think so. We've always booked category 1.

How much is the difference? I'd be perfectly happy with a cat 2 if available. Perhaps you can keep checking.

I agree, we always book Category 1 and think it is worth the extra, especially if it was that or nothing. It is great fun.
Enjoy!!!

Enjoy!!!

We've gone twice and sat within arms reach of the stage on each occasion! Would not consider category 2 or 3!! We're spoiled...:lmao: Category 1 is well worth the extra cost!!!

Enjoy.

We always pay for Cat. 1 seating....We think it is worth it...We love to be right up front in the action!

BTW- We are always on the DP and we have been to the HDDR four times...Always OOP for Cat. 1 seating for the 5:00 show...Our family loves it that much!!

HDDR is one of our must do's. We paid OOP for cat. 1 on our last trip and were in the first row of tables near the stage. It was a wonderful experience for our DDs, who loved it when the performers were so close.

That being said, the performers do "work the room" very well. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. And I don't mind being in cat. 2 or 3. But being in cat. 1 is extra special. I think it is worth it for sure.

We are on the DDP and have a 4 year old and 5 year old. I hate havng to sit upstairs, but do want to go to the show for the food and the music and fun. Do you think my kids will be able to even see the stage?

Thanks everyone. I am going to stick with the cat. 1 seating. After all, we wanted to do a few "different things" this time anyway!

When we brought our DS4, we sat in the balcony. I thought the view was terrific. He had seat right up to the railing, and there are no adults blocking his view. (Think like at an opera house where the more expensive balcony seats provide a terrific view; and no, you won't need opera glasses!)

Two of the actors came upstairs and spent some time talking to us, too.
