WOW! I'm already in LOVE with this place!

I'm in the pre-planning stages of my June 2008 trip (is it too early to get excited???)!!! We are planning on a whole-family-reunion type trip in 17 months and I'm in charge of the planning. Right now I'm working on picking our time-share. This really the only way I will be able to go (single mom) and since my parents have the time share, we will be able to save lots of money.

My Dad
My Brother
My Sister-in-Law
My Niece (who will be 2.5)

And it wouldn't hurt to hope for a significant other to come along with me!

I'm already finding some of the selections I have in my timeshare list...and things are looking like I'm making some good choices.

I'm gathering my list of questions...but wanted to say "hi"!!!

Don't worry, it's never too early to get excited about going. I think the planning and anticipation is at least half the fun. Good luck with everything!

Hi guys! Thanks for the welcome!

This place is just awesome! I have been on message boards for years now (wedding, parenting, etc.) and this one has such a wealth of information! I had NO IDEA about planning a trip to WDW.

I haven't been to WDW in 25 years. I went when I was 5. I remember NOTHING about the trip. I have been told it was my first time on a rollercoaster (Space Mountain) and I told my dad I was going to throw up. But, I didn't...and I LOVE rollercoasters! I have been to Disneyland a couple of times growing up and in high school, but haven't been there since I was 18.

This will be my son's first trip to a theme park and hopefully first ride on a rollercoaster (if he actually gets on!). He's just going to be in love... Cars, Buzz, Woody and Little Mermaid are simply his all-time favorites and he's just going to have a BLAST!

Meanwhile, I'm not really starting to actually plan, but I'm soaking everything in. I LOVE the trip reports. They are fantastic sources of information.

We were originally thinking of going in June 2008. I'm trying to see if I can bump it up to April 2008. I want it to be a little cooler. Being from Phoenix, it won't be hard to adjust to the heat if indeed we do go in June, but I'm a little worried about the crowds.

Anyways...back to reading and soaking up information like a sponge! I have started a notebook with appropriate tabs (I'm a seasoned planner), so I'm excited to start filling up my notebook with information!
