Hello all....went down to the world last weekend for 3 nights....none of the vacation club resorts were available so we decided to stay at Caribbean Beach.....finally on Monday we called and got the last night at the Boardwalk...we being vacation club members are now so spoiled at staying at the vacation club resorts we just are not happy at any of the other resorts...so the investment of the vacation club two years ago was such a good thing for us. If we could only get them to reduce the Friday and Saturday night stay points now....

I bet there are a lot of members out there now that have a hard time staying at a regular resort now......

My wife and I find it VERY difficult to stay in "regular" hotels. We feel your pain.

The only regular resorts we have stayed at where we don't end up missing the DVC resorts are those on the monorail.

I can't get a studio for my just booked-very last minute-trip on Feb 20-24th and I am a little heartbroken to be at Port Orleans. LOL I need to remember I could be in 15 degree Connecticut instead!

We stayed at Dixie in May for a nite and thought the resort was great. We've stayed at PO and CBR before and would stay again. This Oct we'll probably book a nite at CS using AP discount.

Reducing the weekend points would really just mean increasing the weekday points, so given that most of our trips we try to stay 7 nights or more the more expensive weekends do end up evening out.
